A Certass Registered Double-Glazing Company
Peak Taylorglaze is a Certass registered double glazing company. Like FENSA, Certass Limited is a UKAS accredited certification body. If you ever sell your house you will find that solicitors expect your property to have FENSA or Certass certificates for newer windows and doors.
The company has been vetted by Certass, which means that our business meets the requirements of the Certass scheme in relation to having; complaints handling policy, consumer contract, Public and Employer liability insurance requirements and guarantee wording.
We are also a registered member of the Certass DCLG authorised Competent Person Scheme. Membership in this scheme allows us to self-certify our installations to current Building Regulations as an alternative to using Building Control.
Member companies are assessed inline with the standards laid down in EN17065 and specific license requirements of DCLG, TrustMark, PAS2030 or Certass. This means that Certass has financially and technically assessed our company to ensure we meet the required standards. In addition to initially assessing every member each year, Certass will inspect a sample of work submitted by the member for scheme compliance. Where appropriate, Certass notifies the local authority and issues a Building Regulation Compliance Certificate to the homeowner.
